It’s been a while since I did a daily pic, and I thought I would do one now. I have a lot of pictures that don’t really fit within a series, so I find the daily pic format to work the best for these.
This picture I took in Skogar in southern Iceland just after the Laugavegur trail. I was taking a picture of the waterfall when I noticed this chap looking very determined with his monster camera and tripod and the women taking a picture with her smartphone. I like the effect of the picture.
Taken with the Sony RX100 with minimal editing in Lightroom. Read More
I’m not sure if long distance ice skating is a thing in the USA, in fact, I can’t recall ever hearing about it while I was growing up.. That’s not saying much of course considering I grew up on Oahu, Hawaii and in Herlong, California. In any case here in Sweden in the winter people pull out their long distance skates and enjoy the miles and miles of frozen lakes and coast line.
Our little family decided to take a days trip down to the local lake, which is a few hundred meters from the house. We packed in the toddler, some sandwiches and hot cocoa. Was nice day out. Read More
Well, the title is a bit cliche but that’s alright.. I’m of course referring to Swedens tallest mountain in the background Kebnakaise. This panorama was taken on our first night after about a 20 kilometer hike. We went off trail to get some peace and quiet and found this excellent little site between two mountain streams, freezing cold to cross but well worth it.
This picture was taken along kingstrail in northern Sweden. It is three pictures stitched together using lightrooms new Panorama setting.

Anyway, I took this pic while cruising around a few summers ago. This was taken at Herlong High School and it’s hard to see it, but I’m standing on second base taking a picture on the baseball field, or atleast what used to be the baseball field.
Now I can’t say I was all pro and unlike most Americans you meet abroad: I was never offered a scholarship, or turned down a pro chance to pursue my love of music or whatever. I was actually pretty decent at baseball, however my interest in girls far outweighed any interest I had in sports and because of that I never played a full season of anything, well basketball perhaps.. but thats another story. I took this pic with my fuji x-t1 along my Southern Kingstrail adventure in late September. I had been hiking for around 13 hours at this point and just completely dead. On top of the long day of backpacking, the trail was completely drenched, and for the most part I was walking in about 10 inches of water the entire time. To say the least I was sick and tired of the wet trail, the problem was I couldn’t find a dry spot anywhere to put up my duomid and just sleep. Read More
