Moving to wordpress

You might recall earlier that I wrote a post regarding moving back to weebly from wordpress.. well I reversed and spent the last couple of days moving everything over to WordPress. The reasons are many, but mainly I wanted to combine both of my blogs – kennethshaw.se and ultralightandcomfortable.com and I thought this would be easier to do with wordpress.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            While I am transferring over everything here there could be slight problems with the addresses and so on. I couldn’t do just an RSS feed dump which means I lost all the comments, likes and shares. So back to square one.  Hopefully I will have all the kinks worked out over the weekend.

Gear

So which type are you? do you research things to death? read reviews and get a little panicky when you think you found something? And after you get all the information known to human kind, you still can’t make the purchase? You start to sweat, palms get wet and you make a little tinkle in your undies when your about to hit the purchase button? That is called in purely academic terms: Analysis paralysis – or as people like myself might say: Beta. Read More

Inside the MLD Duomid – camp setup

This video is from our third night out along kingstrail. I had apparently put my MLD duomid on top of a bug whole or something as it started to get pretty bad in there. In any case I found a little trick to getting them out. I noticed early on that once the bugs got in they just wanted to get out. So I opened up the top of my Duomid where my bug netting is and noticed within a short amount of time that all the bugs went out without me getting eaten or having to kill them. Read More
