This recipe, much like my Dates and cashews bar is a building block for so many other recipes. Once you nail down this basic granola bar your options are limitless.
Tools needed:
Food processor
Sause pan
Stove
Ingredients:
2 dl Oats
2 dl Dates
2 dl Almonds
1 dl Honey
1 dl Peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
Preparation:
1. Unless you want really beautiful, asthetically magnificent granola bars just throw the oats, almonds and dates in the food processor together. Hack them up a bit – not too much.
2. In a small sauce pan mix the honey and peanut butter together at a low temperature.
3. Add the honey, peanut butter mix to the oats, almonds and dates mix in the processor.
4. Mix all the ingredients together for a minute or so. If the mix is very wet just add more oats.
5. Now mush the mixture into small bars and throw in the refrigerator to chill.
