LEICA M6 – A BEAUTY IN BLACK
LEICA M6 – A BEAUTY IN BLACK
What more can be said about this camera – the infamous Leica M6 classic. Like all or most leica cameras it is a beauty to behold, and much like all Leica cameras beauty meets function. I am not going to write a spec or detail analysis of this camera, as I don’t have that knowledge to give – I am not a camera expert, just a guy who likes taking photos and have my own specific reasons for the cameras that I use. Selling my Sony A7r – and the inspiration of photography
Well after over a year and a half of loving life with a Sony a7 and a7r I decided to pack it up and trade them in for a different system altogether. This article will explain both my choices on why I sold and what I traded to and of course why I decided on these particular cameras. Read More
Etapp 6.1 Sörmlandsleden
Elina and Alexander took on ikea and I decided to go on a nice Sunday walk. This was an excellent day out with the sun shining and the temperature at around 15 degrees celcius. This wrapped up e-tapp 6.1 and parts of 6.0 on Sörmlandsleden. Actual distance is closer to 15 kilometers, I started tracking late. This e-tapp starts in Flemingberg (huddinge stockholm) and makes it way down to crossing towards Paradis. Read More

Backpain hell and sleeping on a pad
I love to be out in nature, I love sleeping over and just enjoying my time out in the woods. I don’t need to be gone very long, usually when I just need to get out, a one night sleep over is enough. Six moon designs – Skyscape trekker review
The SMD skycape trekker is by all accounts a great lightweight solo tent. Well made and extremely easy to setup. I originally made a video for this review out in the wild but I realized that as with my Laufbursche Huckepack video the resolution is horrible. (filmed with an ipad) on top of that my “on video” charisma is about as charming as a stick. (I would say rock but some rocks are pretty interesting) Read More
Hipstamatic iphone app review
I will say it right off the bat – I have never been a fan of “phone” photography. pixelated, terrible colours, almost always crappy selfies and the cheap feel of Instagram. In other words I hate phone photography. With that said, I still made the decision to bring only my Iphone 5s with me on my Coast 2 coast Sweden thru-hike. Why? I just couldn’t be bothered to bring my lovely Sony A7 and Zeiss 35mm lens. It was added weight that the hike couldn’t really justify. Read More
