What incredible landscape. I was so enthralled by the Engelberg and the Swiss alps that I still can’t believe just how massive the landscape really is. I have seen a lot of mountains, and mountainous landscape, but nothing compares to the massive peaks of the Alps.
The ride up to the top took literally 1 hour and 10 minutes by tram, with three different stops inorder to reach the top. Just absolutely insane! I couldn’t come close to capturing the vastness of this landscape, but here are some of the pictures I was able to take.
If I could do it again I would in a heartbeat! Just I would rather bring my Fujifilm X-T1 instead of the Sony A7R. The quality of colours and depth of field I am able to capture with the Fuji just blows the sony away. You can see some other mountainous landscapes I have captured with the fuji here
This was taken on my way to the tram
This is what was waiting on top of stop number two.. From here I walked around for a few hours and snapped off shots before making my way up to the top of the alps.
After hanging around stop two for a while I made my way up with tram to stop three which left me at this nice little restaurant and ski stop.. From here I finally took the last tram up to the top of Titlis which is where these shots where taken. I literally felt like I was on top of the world here.
A hanging bridge at the top of Titlis – The wind here was immense and the bridge was shaking like crazy.. but the trip was worth it!
