This was one of those trips that I just kind of fell into – I didn’t really plan it just everything worked out so that I could come along. I normally don’t bother with group trips, especially when I’m hiking, but I’m very glad I did on this one. This was part of the Fjällräven classic 110kilometer trail along kingstrail. I brought along my Fujifilm X-T1 and the kit lens 18-55mm, which I find takes stunning pictures.
I edited a lot of these photos to really bring out the drama in them. The landscape along this trail is some of the most inspiring and beautiful landscape I have ever seen. Trying to capture something like this with a camera is nearly impossible – but I did my best and here are my most effective shots.
We stopped here for a few minutes to take a break from the hard rain – I really liked how the mist and rain with the old cottage there played together to make this shot work.
This shot needs to be viewed on the biggest screen you got – perhaps even a 4 meter long gallery wall – just stunning in large format. Or I should see, as a panorama.

I really like the dynamic range of the Fujifilm X-T1 – I find it takes “deeper” shots than my Sony A7R did.

It didn’t matter how long or far we walked – the incredible scenery never stopped. It was some of the most inspiring landscape I could ever imagine.

This was simply an incredible 5 day journey that I am happy to have been a part of. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do.

I just saw your post on that. Moving from Weebly to WP was a good move though. I’ve been on WP for a year now and love it. The next step from here is going from .com to .org for a self hosted. I don’t think I’m ready for that though! Great site, I’m looking forward to seeing more of your posts!
